Professional opera company New Arts bring Rossini’s comic masterpiece The Barber of Seville to a marquee in the idyllic grounds of Churcher’s College on Sunday 28th June at 7pm. This fully staged performance features world-class singers who have sung for the UK’s leading opera houses and internationally. It’s immersive and accompanied live by the Phoenix Ensemble.
Join Figaro, the eponymous Barber, as he helps Count Almaviva in his quest to rescue the beautiful Rosina from the clutches of her guardian, the wicked Doctor Bartolo.
The show is packed with hilarity and brilliant music. It’s ideal for seasoned opera-goers and opera newcomers alike.
