Modern critics regard The Woman in White as Collins’ best novel, and this adaptation by Constance Cox brings us a tale of intrigue, romance and comedy, the mix is thrillingly entertaining!
The story unfolds with Walter Hartright’s encounter on a moonlit London Road, with a solitary woman dressed from head to foot in white. Walter is subsequently drawn into the world of Sir Percival Glyde, who is being pestered for money by the devilish Count Fosco. As events progress, Glyde’s efforts, become more desperate and cruel.
