The locally nominated Rootless Tree Productions is returning this November 23-26 at The TPS STUDIO with the rock musical tick, tick… BOOM!
Before Rent, there was tick, tick…Boom!. This autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer of Rent, is the story of a composer and the sacrifices he made to achieve his big break in theatre as he approaches his thirtieth birthday.
Set in 1990 NYC, RTP is excited to return with this compelling story of personal discovery, presented as a rock musical filled with instantly appealing melodies and a unique blend of musical theatre styles. Accompanied by a live rock band, this five piece performance will have you laughing and crying, before sending you home with the incredible score still playing in your head.
Rootless Tree Productions is a local theatre company focusing on high quality theatre that inspires, with a passion for intimate and clever staging. This will be their first performance in Petersfield and RTP is excited to bring their love of theatre to the local area.
