An invitation from Petersfield’s Ukrainian Community
We dream of a peaceful spring 2023 in Ukraine, when the whole world comes alive after the winter, millions of families reunite in their safe homes, children and adults recover from the terrible wounds and traumas.
But now, the war is still on. And we have a lot to do to help those who suffer the most. The utmost goal is to save their lives.
You will enjoy:

All proceeds from the event will be used to support Ukraine. Our goal is to save lives.
All money will be sent to a Ukrainian military unit account for the purpose of funding an armoured medical evacuation vehicle, which costs 30,000 EUR. There is an urgent need for these vehicles. In buying tickets you will help to save many lives.

Local Ukrainian resident Olena explains the importance of Ukrainian Spring:
Ukrainian Spring means a lot. Some people in Ukraine say that it is still the 365 day of February, 2022. The spring of the previous year never came. Ukrainians are stuck in the day, when all their hopes, plans for future were ruined for the whole year already. And things are not going better still. I know that it’s difficult to realise, but all of us try to live in an absolutely different state, when you can’t make plans for future, you just do some ordinary things and hope one day it will change. And spring – is always about hope and life itself. I know, that it is meaningful for us, not for all people. We do not wish everyone should understand us. Because total understanding means to go through this. But no human being, no living creature should ever experience the horror of war.
