The “have a go” flower show is back with flowers, vegetables, food, drink and “gentle jazz”.
We will continue with our prime goal of making this a joyful, and sustainable, highlight of the village calendar.
Please enter as many classes as you can. There really is something that everyone can have a go at, from age 4 upwards. To help us with this, we’d be really grateful if you would save paper by filling in the entry form through the link below once entries open in July.
So, please pencil the date into your diary and bring your friends and family to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, flowers, vegetables, fruit, art, photos, crafts, gentle Jazz, raffle, tombola, outdoor games, produce stall and of course… lots of yummy cake!
We love celebrating anniversaries, so this year in the Flower Arranging section there is a celebration of 200 years of the independence of the United States and in the children’s classes there is the chance to celebrate 100 years of Winnie the Pooh. Our limerick competition invites entries about the Bayeux Tapestry as it returns to England after 900 years away.
