A teenager is in hospital with serious head injuries after an accident on Harting Hill.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 15-year-old boy was travelling in a sports car which collided with a tree on Sunday morning.
The teenager was airlifted to hospital following the collision.
Police say the orange Caterham 7 in which he was a passenger left the road around 9.30am, collided with a tree and went down an embankment just south of the junction with the B2146.
Did you see the collision – on the road between Chichester and Petersfield – and in particular, were you walking in the area and assisted the occupants before the arrival of the emergency services?
If so the Police want to hear from you. They also would also like to see any dash cam footage of the car, which was travelling southbound followed by a green Lamborghini that also stopped at the scene.

Stores across Petersfield are pulling together to help provide free lunches for vulnerable children.
A number of outlets have put plans in place to offer free food throughout this half-term week when Petersfield’s schools are closed.
It follows the campaign led by footballer Marcus Rashford for the government to stretch its free lunches plan until next easter.
MPs decided not to extend that provision in Parliament last week. Now Petersfield stores are stepping-up to show our town can do this itself.
Among those making contributions are The Townhouse, the Charles Street Tap, The George on the Square, Cloisters and Waitrose – whose grab bags are available between 11.30 and 1pm every day this week.
Another popular local event has been brought down by the Coronavirus.
The Liss Village Christmas Fair will not take place this year, but organisers at the Triangle Centre still want you to support their efforts.
The Triangle Centre will host a Virtual Christmas Market and the organisers say it is more important than ever to support local retailers this year.
The Triangle would like all local businesses to get involved.

The virtual market goes live on Monday of next week and will run right through until the end of January.
The Triangle Centre will also hold an online raffle and is asking for raffle prizes.

Listeners to Shine Radio have raised more than 1,800 pounds for the service.
The news comes as the community radio project closes its Crowdfunder Appeal today, having exceeded its fundraising target.
Organisers say they’ll use the money to bring live church services to radio listeners, including people in our community who are isolated or lonely.
They also want to invest in other aspects of the service so more people can find and enjoy the volunteer-run radio service.
Two listeners each pledged thirty pounds so they could be weather reporters for a day on Shine Radio. You’ll be able to hear how well they do over Christmas.
An audience of around 50 people enjoyed a live show in Petersfield last night.
The 50th edition of the popular local podcast the P pod was recorded before a live audience with special guests.
Actors Hugh Bonneville and Abigail McKern contributed to the show which was hosted by Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey.
The audience also enjoyed live music from Collabro’s Michael Auger and local country pop band Ward Thomas.

Travel news
On our local roads, expect delays through Sheet this week as the electrical interconnector work continues on the old A3.
The stretch between the Stodham Lane turn and the Ramshill Roundabout will all face trench work in the road or on verges over the coming days.
Temporary lights will control traffic.
In East Harting, the Street is partially closed for council patching work – that’s opposite the Turkey Island junction.
BT is working on Warren Lane in Froxfield.
And the traffic lights are still there in Liss on Andlers Ash Road.
And an early warning that from Thursday night, the Hindhead Tunnel will be closed northbound overnight from 9pm until 9 the following morning for seven nights. It’s for overnight maintenance – and diversions will be in place via the A325, B3004 and A31.
